Adventure Motorcycle Travel Stories

I am an Australian solo traveller riding the world by motorcycle, my 2019 Yamaha Tenere 700.  This is a journal of my travels that I hope is entertaining and also helpful to other overland travellers.  The scenery is the star, and I encourage you to view the site on a good size screen.

I have recently completed my 3 year journey and circumnavigation of the world, via Australia, South America, Central America, North America, East Asia, South East Asia, Central Asia, Europe, West Africa, Europe again and Canada again.  Click on the main menu and select a continent to read the stories of my motorcycle travel adventure.

I am back in Australia and settling into a normal life, for a while at least.  There is still an update for crossing Canada and getting home that I hope to complete soon.

For now my most recent update is a collection of thoughts and tips for others considering a long distance overseas motorcycle or overland trip – Solo Motorcycle Travel in a Foreign Country
